Two lovely vintage, rare pieces from Prinknash Pottery - a bowl and a mug in the Feathered Friends series by Simon Alvin.
*Feathered Friends Simon Alvin, Prinknash Pottery, Gloucester, England.
*No chips or cracks, but both have crazing as per vintage age. Lovely gold finishing on rims of items.
*Approx measurements: Mug 7cm diameter x 8.5cm high, bowl 16cm diameter.
*The Prinknash Abbey Pottery was founded in 1942 by the monks when they found a seam of clay during some building work. The Benedictine monks continued to make pottery at the abbey in Granham, Gloucestershire until 1997 when the pottery was sold to the Welsh Porcelain Co.
