Stunning, rare German Reinhold Merkelbach vintage musical beer stein in working condition.
- Measures approx 22cm high x 10cm across base.
- In great condition, has a creamy mark on the pattern that is not a chip – it appears to be like a paint splodge (see last photo by the scalloped edge of stein) whether in use or in the making I don’t know. No chips or cracks.
- This musical stein is hard to find. To give you an idea of price, I have seen one for around 100 pounds overseas.
- Stein features the slogan “Der Liebe nicht jedes gelingt, der Durst aber alles bezwingt” which means Love does not succeed in everything, but thirst conquers all. The scene is gent giving an apple to a very bashful lady.
